Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is situated right on the main square of old town Orvieto, directly across from the Basilica. My room was charming and had a lovely view of the piazza, although it was quite small even by Italian standards. The service was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the town, making our stay delightful. The dining experience was basic, but the location couldn't have been better, offering easy access to local shops, cafes, and all the main attractions.
The hotel had some positives, like a great location in the heart of the city, but there were significant drawbacks such as plain, tiny rooms with no extra amenities and a lack of trash cans. The service was friendly and helpful, which made the stay more pleasant.
I stayed at this charming rustic stone villa that I loved, even though it didn't face the square as expected. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but not soundproof, which could affect your sleep if there's noise outside. The lighting was a bit dim with only two small lamps, but overall a pleasant stay.
